THE 2011 CEO & CFO FORUM
Despite a general slowdown in IPO action across the globe in 2011, China stays ahead of the curve, maintaining its position as leader of IPO activity worldwide. With Chinese IPO representing 38.9% of global proceeds in the first half of 2011, and with increased investments into Asian, American and particularly European markets around the world, current trends indicate China's influence over the global stock market is set to continue. However, challenges remain for senior executives responsible for evaluating the risks and benefits of investing in overseas markets, as well as selecting and developing a suitable strategy to sustain a company's competitiveness and growth in today's uncertain economic climate.
Following last year's success, CE Premier is launching the 3rd edition of the annual CEO & CFO Forum, a 2-day conference focused on providing professional advice and implementable, effective problem-solving plans for Overseas Listed Chinese Companies faced with complex and ever-changing corporate issues and challenges.
While Day 1 will center on a discussion of the toughest issues top-level executives currently face, Day 2 of the forum will display two simultaneous tracks, offering customized seminars, one targeted to the needs of CEOs and Non-Executive Directors and one to the needs of CFOs and financial professionals, representing a unique opportunity to acquire insights from experienced practitioners in related fields.
Last but not least, this year’s CEO & CFO Forum will again recognize leading professionals for their accomplishments over the past year with The 2011 Leadership Awards for Overseas Listed Chinese Companies; finalists will be announced at the Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner on December 13th.
